Importers and distributors of dried fruits are discovering to their
amazement that tropical dried fruits are the exotic health snacks of the
future. Sophisticated consumers are increasingly drawn to new products, especially if they are chemical and pesticide free as are our dried tropical fruits.
Take the Philippine Carabao Mango for example - it is arguably one of the most delicious fruits in the world. It beats all others in taste but as a fresh fruit is rarely found in the markets of North America and Europe because of the prohibitive distances and costs. But, when dried to perfection, they remain soft and chewy, naturally sweet with a twinge of sourness that makes the mouth water for more.
They can be addictive! This explains the high reorder rate for this tropical dried fruit which has a huge consumer base in Asia and a growing demand in Western countries.
Distributors are realizing that demand soon outstrips supply when the
taste catches on and they come back for more. Recently one major importer
and distributor in the UK and Ireland was so desperate for additional
supplies that he had to buy from another PREDA importer in Germany.
PREDA works with mango cooperatives and the most technically advanced processing plant in Cebu City, to produce tasty, chewy, delicious and attractive dried fruit. These have genuine natural fruit taste. The actual drying process used to produce naturally tasting dried mangoes is a family secret formula that many have imitated but none have matched.
PREDA currently exports to Germany, Austria, Italy, Holland, Spain, Japan and
Ireland. Dried mangoes are available from March to July, but, with regard to orders at peak demand, it is strictly a "first come, first served" basis.
The mangoes can be processed without preservative and according to one of PREDA's German importers, have a shelf life of up to 15 months. PREDA has no control over transit conditions and storage however, and as a result takes limited liability for six months for all food products.
The dried fruits are available in 100 gram bags with your own logo and
